Golden Harvest Restaurant

Golden Harvest has been serving up great food in Lansing since 1951.  Five years ago, when current owner Zane saw the for sale sign on what is now his building, he almost caused an accident when he rushed in to buy the place.  His first act of business: redecorate. He turned its bare walls into a gallery of nostalgia, putting up assorted relics such as a smurf lunch tray and an iconic painting of Jay Jay from the 1970's sitcom, Good Times. But the main attraction at Golden Harvest has always been the food.  Primarily a breakfast place, Zane serves up breakfast classics such as omelets and French toast as well as a Golden Harvest exclusive: the Bubba sandwich. Two slices of French toast with bacon, a sausage patty, and cheese in the middle.  Here, you'll meet the diner's cult following, none of whom are shy. Bear in mind, your credit card won't do you any good here, its cash only.
