As an outreach specialist at MLPP, I help to inform people of the state budget through presentations, advocacy and social media. I work on putting together information around budget priorities, state investments and various state programs to present to people in a digestible way. Presentations are given to various groups of individuals throughout the state, from college students to partners of the League. The goal of presenting around budget issues is to empower residents of the state to advocate on behalf of their priorities of education, communities and families and reinvest state funds into public goods.
