As the Promotions Specialist for the Michigan Main Street Center, I assist over 30 communities throughout the state of Michigan with their communications efforts. Promotional strategies included advertising, retail activities, social media, special events and marketing to encourage commercial activity and investment in each of these Main Street communities. I also provide communications and marketing for the Michigan Main Street Center itself, helping to get the word out about the fabulous services this program continues to provide. It’s an amazing feeling to be part of a team that is passionate about the revitalization of downtown communities in our state. I am surrounded by professionals who believe that their success can only be measured by the success of the communities they serve. And that’s an empowering.
