I’m working on a team to continue improving Camtasia Studio, the Windows software that lets you record your screen to edit and share.  I program primarily in C++ and get to contribute directly to the product.  I work closely with a small team of developers.  We practice paired programming as needed and write unit tests to ensure a stable product.  The work is very interesting and everyone is really helpful.  I learn something new every day.

Camtasia Relay is a newer TechSmith product that allows schools, universities and businesses to record presentations, classes, meetings and other screencasts to share with the entire organization. I was hired to work on that team to engage with customers, assess their needs for “how-to” materials and to create those materials using other TechSmith products like Snagit, Camtasia Studio, Jing and Screencast.com.  I work on the Camtasia Relay team, engaging with customers, assessing needs and creating educational materials.
