Draft and edit persuasive marketing-based copy including emails, print material, website content, sales and marketing presentations, newsletters, product focused user stories, advertisements, direct mail pieces, scripts for marketing videos, and other creative and technical writing assignments as needed.

As an account executive I contribute to the enhancement and strength of our clients public relations and strategic communications.  I am responsible for handling writing, social media and other PR needs of our clients.

My role will entail account strategy and planning, client relations and management, and the development of social media strategies for Publicom clients.

An Emmett, Michigan native, I am returning to Publicom after six years of pursuing other avenues in the account planning industry. I have more than 12 years of diverse account experience in various marketing and advertising organizations, including five years as a contractor with the Michigan Army National Guard.

My responsibilities will include supporting the company’s media planning and buying processes, researching and developing media plans for clients, tracking the effectiveness of these plans through auditing programs, and maintaining Publicom’s various social media outlets. Prior to my promotion, I served as project coordinator at Publicom.

My passion for music and creativity has brought me to my current position as an On-Air Personality at 100.7 WITL, Today’s Best Country! It’s a fun and exciting career that is filled with perks. I not only get to play some of my favorite music for our listeners, but also have the privilege of meeting them too. I love hearing from new people, whether it be over the phone lines or in person at live events. It’s also been surreal meeting some of the artists I have grown so fond of over the years.
    
In addition to being On-Air I also play a role in our website maintenance, voice and produce commercials for Citadel Lansing, and host a country music news segment called “The Wittle Country Music Source,” which can be seen on www.lifeinlansing.com or www.witl.com

I work with Michigan organizations to help solve business problems through the use of enabled technologies. In our current economic climate, businesses are trying to become more competitive, differentiate, and increase customer recruitment and retention. We are partnered with over forty different technology vendors that provide solutions ranging from customer service applications to patient notification systems. These partnerships allow us to deliver solutions and applications that really do HELP businesses. I enjoy my position because the technology/solutions are always changing, so I’m constantly learning. I also get to spend a lot of time socializing and getting to know other Detroit area professionals. I never have two days that are exactly the same and get to spend most of my time helping customers address their business communication challenges. Unlike most other jobs, it never gets monotonous AND I am in complete control of my income.

I help market mobile phone applications and content using PR and social media networking. I am responsible for establishing professional relationships with our clients and promoting their product by writing press releases and news articles and utilizing Facebook, Twitter and other social media websites.
