My position within The Christman Company is with the Project Planning Group, designed to provide professional preconstruction services. The Christman Company is a professional construction management organization, with great people who are passionate in building great projects with our clients. The construction management industry provides challenging and fulfilling professional career opportunities in many capacities.
 
My family is happy to call Michigan home as we enjoy the four seasons and natural beauty around the state. Milford is a quaint picturesque village conveniently located in the middle of Lansing, Ann Arbor, and Detroit and includes immediate access to two state parks, two metro parks, lakes, a bike trail system, equestrian clubs, mountain biking, hunting, and fishing. The area is home to multiple professional sports teams, historical museums, theater venues, and universities including MSU!

As a HR Specialist for the Granger Construction Company, my focus is entirely on people. Granger Construction has always placed a high priority on training and development for our employees. I organize internal and external training sessions as part of the Granger Learning Center. Besides training, my role encompasses talent recruitment and benefits administration. I am excited to be in a comprehensive human resources role with a great local Mid-Michigan company.

I recently accepted a position at the Christman Company in Business Development after working for the Mayor of Lansing during my first years out of college. I feel very fortunate to be able to stay in the Lansing area after graduation and to have had very fulfilling career experiences. I am looking forward to leveraging the skills I have acquired through my previous work and education to develop business for an exceptional, growing company that is head-quartered right here in Michigan. This position allows me to focus on my passion for helping to create a “sense of place” through our built environment including being part of some very exciting urban renewal projects. My main responsibilities at The Christman Company include working with our team to build its professional network, conduct industry and market research, and help to identify future clients and projects. I also assist the marketing team with the proposal process, social media programming, and overall marketing of our company and its services. In my free time I enjoy running the Lansing river trail, yoga at Hill Top in Old Town Lansing, current events, and traveling. Although I have been many places, I am still very proud to call Michigan my home!
