TechSmith software is sold to a variety of customers as well as a variety of channels, including resellers and distributors worldwide.  The Global Channel Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the Channel Sales Team, focusing on distributors and reseller partners globally. This position works closely with the Sales Management team and other colleagues across TechSmith to develop and implement the strategic, marketing and tactical plans for channel sales.

As a customer service specialist I handle account status inquiries and order questions from our customers as well as processing new orders.  I work closely with our customers to make sure they have a positive experience in purchasing and installing TechSmith software products and trouble shoot and solve customer and vendor problems.

TechSmith Corporation's Sales Interns support the framework of TechSmith by analyzing the trends in the business and assisting the Sales team to ensure customers are experiencing complete value in TechSmith's software. The Sales Interns work as part of a team, while developing key business skills to help aid and guide for future careers.

As a sales intern, I work both independently and with the inside sales team at TechSmith to ensure customer satisfaction with our software. I work on special projects, assist with the release of new products and analyze sales data  in order to help improve sales opportunities and the efficiency of the company’s business process. In doing all of this, I am able to not only learn the key concepts and uses of the TechSmith software, but also apply my increasing knowledge of business strategies and tactics in order to better the company.

Creating software to delight customers.

I support, maintain and implement IT systems, services and applications that support the operations and goals of TechSmith Corporation. I work with teams across the company to ensure they have the necessary systems and resources available to support their projects and advising them on current and future technologies available to assist with their goals.

I work with the User Experience Research team to help make TechSmith products easy to use. We conduct research to find out how TechSmith products are being used, what aspects of the products are working and what’s not, and how to make them better.

I help manage the main TechSmith.com website, including the store.

I work closely with TechSmith’s management and product teams to refine and understand what our customers need and want to accomplish with our software in various industries. To do that, I identify and execute product research related to marketing, product management and user experience. I use standard methods such as focus groups, surveys, discussion boards, field research and competitive analysis in interesting and creative ways. Then, I translate findings from these activities into work items for use by my coworkers who develop and market our software products worldwide.

Design and code user interfaces for websites and web applications.
