Center for Business Innovation adds seven technology jobs

Lansing-based technology firm Center for Business Innovation has experienced notable growth over the last two years. The 56-staff member company has added seven new positions over that time period and currently have plans to add five more.

There are two key factors that are attributed to our growth,” says marketing coordinator for CBI, Katie Martz, “our Cloud Computing solutions and our Managed Services.”

While CBI has offered cloud computing solutions for more than 14 years, the recent global trend toward these services has increased the demand to the benefit of the company.

“The other key factor is our holistic approach in offering Managed Services,” says Martz. “Our partners are excited about the simplicity and effectiveness of our Managed Services. We are able to bundle together service plans to create a technology solution specific to what our partners need.”

The new positions include partner care center representatives, systems engineers, electronic content management specialists and more.

The growth at CBI doesn’t end with adding staff. Plans for 2012 include the development of a new website to be unveiled this spring and the launch of three new absolute.Reliance service plans and restructuring two existing service plans.
