CG Radio: Water and Workers

Every state has its gem. Michigan’s includes the Great Lakes and rivers and streams that make up 22 percent of the world’s fresh water. According to two leading Michigan economists, these gems, as well as the state’s employment capital, are not being touted enough.

According to them, it’s time to let the world know that we have water and we have workers and we’re ready to share both.

Michigan NOW’s Chris McCarus has the story here.

This radio program also can be heard on public radio stations across the state, including WDET 101.9 FM in Detroit. It is sponsored in part by Capital Gains and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA).
