Beyond its urban appeal (being able to walk to get groceries, ride a bicycle safely to and from work, etc.) there are other benefits that lie behind the walkable/bikeable ideal—the impact it could have on our health or the environment, for example.
The event starts at 6:00 p.m. with sign in at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, on the patio of the Lansing City Market, located at 325 City Market Drive in
Downtown Lansing.
From 6:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., we will delve into the minds of local pioneers who have already made strides towards accomplishing this goal. Q & A, networking and refreshments to follow.
