Good Jobs Guru Comes to Town

Greg LeRoy has been tracking state and local economic development subsidies for a long time. He did some research in Michigan in 2006 that analyzed the effectiveness of our economic development strategies, and now he's tracking Michigan's handling of federal stimulus dollars.

Leroy will be a keynote speaker at this Friday's 2010 Michigan Land and Prosperity Summit in East Lansing. He's one of a trio of experts headlining the summit, which also includes former Genesee County Treasurer Dan Kildee, now with the Center for Community Progress, and Chris Leinberger with the Brookings Institution.
