It's one of those weeks ... step outside your door and head pretty much anywhere in Lansing and there is something going on. Why decide? I'll just highlight all I can think of:
Capital City Film Festival and TEDx Lansing
What can you expect from the
Capital City Film Festival? A four-day celebration of film and music, showcasing the best our region has to offer, along with global and nationally recognized films.
This year, the $50 all-access pass includes 72 films, 19 musical performances, 12 TEDx talks (ticket to TEDx Lansing included in pass!) and more.
TEDx Lansing is Friday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Creatives, thinkers and influencers from the Capital region and around the state will share ideas worth spreading and enlighten our community at the Lansing Public Media Center.
Taste & Tour of Old Town
The Old Town Commercial Association is hosting its fifth annual
Taste & Tour of Old Town, a progressive food sampler and exclusive loft tour. The sampler gives visitors a chance to taste a variety of Old Town’s finest fare and an opportunity to tour real estate in Old Town.
Participants check in for the event at the OTCA office where they will receive a map, purchase tickets, and wristbands to be on the tour.
Tickets are priced $13 in advance, $15 the day of, and $5 for children under 12. Tickets will also be sold for loft tours only for $5.
